Farewell My Friend

Gentle giant,
Arthur.
Eleven human years (99 dog yrs)
A massive wolfhound of 90kg of devoted doggedness with a face only a mother could love.
Passed peacefully into an assisted death.
Loved by his family.
Awed by many.
Give my love to Indy-Dog

  3. Maybe a face only a mother could love but Arthur was certainly much loved by many others.

So glad he was given a loving and caring home.
Despite the care and attention pets need and more so as they age, our lives are certainly enriched by having them.

  5. He sounds like he was a lovely dog. There is a wolfhound cross at the dog's home at the moment called Wolfie, and he's the volunteers favourite dog, and the first one I walk when I go out there. Sorry about Arthur. My heart always pings when I see a headline like yours.
