Somebody Tracked In Some Mud

Some changes have been made.
This also ties in with my post entitled "Phenomenons"
Mostly what I post here is for broader discussion in the hopes that we illuminate the shades of grey.
Life is not black and white.
Most of the time, there are no "right" or "wrong" answers.
At all times there should be respect, generosity of spirit and plain ol' good manners.
Like many bloggers far greater than I,
I will be moderating every comment from now on.
I will NOT accept comment from anyone remaining anonymous or with blocked profiles.
I will not accept comments that do not enrich the discussion and experience.
By all means, disagree, but leave your judgments at the door.
....and for goodness sake,
wipe your feet!

  1. Love it! I've always wondered why anyone needed to be rude to make their point and why people must attack others because of their differences. Civilized people can "agree to disagree" in polite ways, but what I find is that those who get rude and angry are just trying to build themselves up while tearing someone else down. For some reason, that makes them feel better, of more worth, etc. I applaud you for insisting on manners and politeness. It's a hard lesson to learn and teach as I try to teach those things to my children. No one wants to spend time around rudeness!

  4. I couldn't agree more. I have been blessed in the past three years of blogging to not have any nasty comments. Of course I don't have the kind of traffic that you do on your blog. Thanks so much for your kind comments on my blog. It is a daily struggle trying to do what is right for our environment, bodies, frugal living, and spiritual life. We are just taking it one week at a time. More changes are in store over the next 6 -12 months, so stay tuned.

  5. My experience with blogging has been very positive.
I am very cautious about my politics for fear of a backlash.
I respect your right to explore your ideas through your blog and feel sorry if others have hurt you by being unkind.
When I read your blog on toilet paper, I expected this may happen.
People can be quick to judge can't they. But you didn't even say that was a path you have taken. Just an idea you have read about.
Your blog is very informative and interesting and I encourage you to be fearless and keep going.

  6. I couldn't agree with you more...

I've only had 1 extremely nasty blog comment which I deleted straight away in my past 4 years on my blog so I'm very lucky...

I love reading your blog and find it extremely informative, interesting and inspiring. I'm astounded that any-one feels the need to judge or leave inappropriate comments here...

The vibe I get from your blog is beautiful and positive, I love reading what you have to say and enjoy revisiting here often..

    Keep your chin up..

    Hugs - Jodie :)
